Develop a Morning Routine.  One you look forward to. Give yourself time to wake up, set your intentions for the day, plan your snacks, hydrate, eat breakfast. Morning exercise has been proven to boost focus, mental clarity and energy for your entire day.

Download an App. Headspace is a good one. You can access it at any time of the day or night. It is a good starting point in helping you understand the power of regular pauses,  breathing exercises and “time outs” so you feel more in control and less overwhelmed.

Try not to go longer than 4 hours without eating. Include protein with your meals and snacks, to balance blood sugars, stay hydrated and eat more foods containing tryptophan!
